I own a 1967 Camaro 350 RS/SS. I bought it a few years ago and was wondering if it may be in the data base. I traced the car back to CA by doing an emissions check. I live in IL and bought it from a local dealer of muscle cars. The emissions check was done on 5/3/97 at an Econo Lube N’ Tune, La Puente CA. I love the car and it is fun to drive, a lot of nice complements. It has a date code of 01A, 4 speed code of 2L, 350 code of 4P, 3L for Rally Sport, 760Z, NOR 66261  and it is Marina Blue car.

 Anyone have history on this?

Decoding/Numbers / 1967 Camaro seat belt decoding help

A few I could read and the others were faded but I think they follow the same pattern. Here they are:

31A69 - Drivers lap belt w/ retractable holder floor (female)
20A69 - Drivers shoulder harness (female), it is held by 2 u shaped clips above the drivers window (roof panel).

Both the above drivers lap belt and shoulder harness require 2 individual male connectors. So to buckle up I have a total of 4 straps . I'm not sure if a 67 came with this setup?

19A69 - Rear passengers lap belt

Decoding/Numbers / 1967 engine block casting date L206 - Dec or Nov?

I have a chance to purchase this engine for my 1967 Camaro. The seller says this is a Dec 20, 1966 date while my Corvette friend says it's Nov 20,1966? My build week on the car is 1st week Jan 1967. If this is 12/20/67, would this be to close to the build week. I've been told a casting date of 30-60 days before build week is correct?
