Maintenance / Clutch or Transmission or . . .

The issue is it is very hard to shift at an idle once the 69 Camaro has run for 30 minutes plus.   It can be driven and the longer you drive the harder it is to shift back into first especially at a stop.

Does this sound like the clutch or the transmission (M20)? 

I would like to have some ideas on this before having it looked at.

Restoration / Black Z28/RS Grill

I'm finally getting around to correcting a few restoration issues on my '69 Z28/RS.  It's black with white stripe as original.  Only problem is the previous owner did not paint the grill the original Argent color.

Can someone tell me how much of the grill was Argent?  Is the entire area within the chrome trim around the grill what needs to be Argent?

General Discussion / 1969 stereo radio diagrams

A year or two ago a member of CRG sent me the wiring diagrams for the AM/FM stereo radio for my 69 Z28.  Well they were lost when my email blew up.  If anyone hs the wiring diagrams including anything related to a stereo adapter than connects via a green and a black please forward the information to ktboone@earthlink.net.

Maintenance / 69 Blue Dot Radio - Stereo Adapter?

My 69 blue dot stereo radio is only working on the left side.  In reviewing an old wiring diagram for the radio there is a green and green/black wires coming out of the connector where the main power plugs into on the radio.  Per the diagram these wires are supposed to go to a "stero adapter". 

Does anyone have a diagram or can explain where these two wires connect?

What is the color and code for the grill on a 69 Z/28 RS?  I've been told it's Argent.  I need to code so it can be mixed.

General Discussion / Headlight switch knob removal and switch testing

Does the knob for the headlights pull off the shaft going into the switch?  If not is there a secret to getting the knob off?

Second, does anyone have the wiring diagram for the headlight switch?  I understand per the original manual there is a circuit breaker on the switch if there is a headlight wiring problem.

This is on a 69 Z28 RS.
