Has anyone seen this car, or does anyone know anything about it?  I am curious about how it's registered. If you watch the video, and pause at :29 sec. You will see both the original Trim Tag and the VIN have been transplanted to the glove box. I can understand the trim tag as the smooth the Firewall, but moving the VIN to a different location? Can't see if there is a new VIN in the original location (ie registered as a kit car) nor do I know why anyone would do that since it was a real car, but if not, is this even legal??   Car info:   https://www.aidesign.com/work/1969-camaro       Video https://youtu.be/b15YCTmaIcY.

Restoration / Finishes Question
« on: July 29, 2021, 05:13:11 PM »
I have seen many, many, great threads discussing the various finishes of parts of First Gens as well as Jerry's great book with his list of "accepted" finishes organized by part name. I was wondering if anyone, during their research or restoration created a list of parts grouping by finish so that if one were going to phosphate parts, send out for silver cad etc. we could make sure we included every known part that needed that finish. If anyone has, and would like to share, before I start trying to make my own (where I will surely miss some), I would appreciate it..Thanks Bob

Were these manifolds cast in both Flint and Tonawanda and if so were there any markings to denote this? I have seen a few with 68 dates codes have a large T near the casting # which would (to me) indicate a Tonawanda manifold. Others have no markings. All seem to have a large R on them near firing order?

Does anyone know of anyone who sells a Small Block version of this decal? I see a version for Big Blocks is fairly common. Thanks Bob
