General Discussion / Assessing value of this car.
« on: December 22, 2023, 09:50:27 PM »
Let’s say this is a real x77. I’m  having trouble assessing the value of this car.   It has a really clean paint job and body work .  But the engine and trans are missing.

Wondering what some of you value this car at ? Not what you would pay but what you think the car is worth based on what you see in the ad.

50k?  How far off am I ?

not sure why they would have painted  over stripes if was survivor.
The "3" in the vin# looks modified or is a blurred photo.

It’s the white modded Foose SS/RS listing.  Looks like last sold at 77k.

Do the tops of the side marker and emblem align and what is the horizontal distance from the marker to the emblem?

Anyone seen the Shorty car in person?  I keep seeing it on the intro to Shorty's show but can't find it online.

Also, here is one for sale that is interesting. I guess built by foose.   What is your guess on resale?  $125k?

Decoding/Numbers / D80 option
« on: July 18, 2022, 07:02:18 PM »
If a car is X11D80, could that option have been ordered for any 69 camaro?

I found a car on CL and noticed the D80.  I don't have the vin#, but the car looks pretty clean.  Not the original color/interior, but a good looking setup.

Just wonder what the D80 implies if anything other than spoilers.

Decoding/Numbers / Does this one look legit? Z10 69
« on: December 10, 2021, 10:45:08 PM »
Is this this an authentic Z10 396 car? I know the motor and probably most of drivetrain is not, then again, kind of like the engine setup.

Decoding/Numbers / this one just sold on ebay.. x66
« on: April 02, 2019, 12:35:32 AM »
looks like a decent car @ $21,500.  I got a pic of the trim tag before sold.  If I had more time, I may have bid on this one.

General Discussion / Emission Stickers 69 Camaro
« on: February 18, 2019, 07:33:50 AM »
Hi, looking at buying a 69 Camaro and was looking at the requirements to get it regeistered (From Reno, NV to Calif)
I am not sure how much effort is going to be required. There were some comments on DMV site about inspecting the emission
stickers.

Did the 69 actually  have an emission sticker?  I thought it had a smog pump.   If it did, can those be purchased?
I would hate to buy stock headers and a smog pump just to get this thing registered.

ANy info on the process appreciated.
