Decoding/Numbers / Re: 1967 Camaro RS/SS

I appreciate the input. The previous owner wrote that it was matching numbers on the bill of sale. That being said I would like someone to look at my pictures but they are 3.5 MB each. Is there another way to post to CRG since the allowed file types shows only 200 KB allowed. Not to technical with pictures and posting.

Does anyone else see a reason not to advertise this car as number matching?

Sorry about the great grammar skills. I had to retype my question four times as it kept getting blown away by spell check.  By then I just wanted to post something. Thanks for the reply, and it is a nice car. Unfortunately the wife wants to move and it is up for sale along with my 69 SS. I asked the question because the first thing everyone would ask is "Do the numbers match". I don't like to tell people things that aren't true about the car and there are people on CRG that know a lot more than me about date sequence etc..

Decoding/Numbers / 1967 Camaro RS/SS
« on: June 30, 2014, 05:16:53 PM »
I have a 1967 Camaro RS/SS that was built at the Van Nuys Plant. The Camaro was around the 9100 (October) produced. The Cowl Tag is 10C (October 3rd week) with 2ELG 3SL 4P 5BY options. The problem I have is that it looks like someone decked the block and only left the VIOOMT (October 7th). The block is a 3892657 cast with a date code of H106 (August 10th 1966). The Muncie 4 speed has a cast number of 3885010 and a code of P7M15 (1967 model year August 15th). The only other numbers I could find had been stamped on top and It looked like CT047J with a mirror. The 12 bolt had a cast of 3894860 with a PY0927G (September 27th) from Eaton. The date code was H286 (August 28th 1966). Do this look right or do I need more numbers?
