I am trying to restore the car Correct. Its a matching numbers car.

Please show me pics if possible. I will try to hunt down a NOS 7752901. On the web (for sale) they say a rear nos emblem is 3916654.

Thanks

Nice

Thanks Darrel, that is great work.

I actually bought NOS p/n 3916654 and was told it was the rear lid NOS emblem.

What is the difference between 3916654 and 7752901?

Hi Guys

I want to install a CAMARO BY CHEVROLET emblem on my trunk lid for my 1969 SS. The trunk is not the original and I don't know where to do my holes.

My car has no rear spoiler.

Does someone have the exact location where to put this emblem on my rear lid?

Thanks

Jack

Restoration / Rocker panel molding installation
« on: July 19, 2015, 03:34:42 AM »
Hi

I am installing rocker panel moldings on my 69 ss. The moldings had been removed in the past and never put back. Don't know where to put my molding retainer. I do have the Assembly Manual. Its hard to understand exactly where to put the molding. How far is the tip of the molding from the wheel well? How far from the door opening do I put the molding? Does someone have clear measures?

Thanks

Originality / Re: G31 special heavy suspension
« on: June 27, 2015, 02:45:06 AM »
The reason I wanted to know if I had G31 rear suspension is to know what Rear bumper Guard I had to install. The standard small chrome or the deluxe bigger one with rubber strip. If the car came with G31 : you got the Rear deluxe bumper Guard RPO V32.

Presently my car came with no rear bumper guards, so I don't know witch to install...

Thanks

Decoding/Numbers / R59 date coded battery
« on: October 20, 2014, 12:42:42 AM »
Hi

I ordered a R59 battery and asked that  8LT  be put on the left side and  25  on the right side of the battery.  To have a battery dated November 25 1968. My car was built 12D. I have a 1969 Camaro SS.

The shop sent me the dates reversed  25 on the left and 8LT on the right. Told that was the proper way. This goes against what I read.

So where do the date code go?

Thanks
