Nope, It has a black rallye stripe.  It is black below the rocker moldings.

I was always under the impression that Seafrost was a '67 color, and it was blank because it wasn't a stock '68 color.  I've since come to the conclusion that that's not true.

Were '68s all one color?  Is my lower rocker trim the potential cause?

6-cylinder Camaros / Is there a market for a '67 6cyl engine?

A friend of mine has recently unearthed a '67 6 cyl Camaro which is undergoing a full upgrade.  The 6 cyl didn't make the cut and he's turning it into a v8 car.  This is against my urging, but I can only do so much.

I don't think he's looking to sell the engine, but rather just get rid of it.  It has a 4 speed tranny as well.  It ran as of a month ago when it came out of the car.

The engine is in Nor-Cal.  I doubt he'd be willing to crate and ship it.

Just putting a feeler out there.

Hello.  Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi!

I am the proud owner of a '68 RS Camaro.  My grandparents bought the car brand new in late '67 from a dealership in Reading Pa.  My dad then bought the car from them in the early 80's and I've owned the car since the early 90's.  So, I like to call it a single owner car. :)

It's a '68 RS, 327/210 hp, Powerglide, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Factory AC, Deluxe interior.  My firewall tag is blank as my grandfather worked for the Chevy dealership and custom ordered the car.  It's Seafrost green with black interior.

Sadly, the car had quite a bit of rust from growing up in eastern PA.  So I've done quite a bit of body work.  The car was also in an accident and rear ended another car on the freeway.  So much of the sheetmetal has been replaced (both rear fenders from rust) one front fender, the hood, and nose pieces are all new.

The car is about 98% through a it's current restoration.  I got burned out of working on it for a couple years.  2 co-workers recently got '67's and are trying to re-energize me.

I'm looking forward to learning even more about Camaros, and trying to help others as much as possible.  The car and I currently reside in Nor-Cal.

Cheers!
