I am told that the car  came with a 350 with a 2 speed power glide. Could it still be a ss car with that set up. The car is sitting on horse crap right now once we pull it out will be able to do some more research. Thanks for posting I will keep looking deeper in to this car.

More numbers  These are from the tag on the fire wall.  S T 68-12437   nor 81729    lower on the tag It reads    T R 712       U2

The car has manual brakes drum on all four. Has an ss hood but not much else to go on. Automatic tranny. That's about it.  Can these numbers be identified. Thanks

I have found a 1968 Camaro behind a house and the owner is ready to sell. I would like to know if anyone could give me info using these vin numbers. VIN 124376N3B1579   The number 6 may or may not be that number. could not get a good look at them. Will be going to look at it tomorrow with the person that found it. Would be nice if this turned out to be an original ss or something special.

How much power can you put to the 8.2 rear end. I have been reading up on them and they don't get good reviews. Anyway I'm installing a Powertrax locker to get the pozzy traction.

Originality / wheel opening moldings

I have a 68rs and my question is, should the front wheel well molding be full length and the rear wheel well molding end at the side quarter panel molding? In the catalogue that is the way it is suggested. I just would like to know if this is the way thay came stock. Thank you Scott.
