Agree to disagree.

Just because it's original doesn't always mean more desirable. The recent MECUM show here in So. Cal. was full of overpriced fake RS/SS Camaros. That didn't stop them from being bid up either through ignorance or deception. YMMV, but the masses seem to have spoken.

My vert was a 6 with all the Clifford goodies and a three on the floor with console and the Pacesetter package. The six was a blast and I broke second gear in the tranny twice before yanking it all out. Super fun and got rubber in all three gears with a 3.08. Power top too!

The six was fun, but since the car wasn't going to be an everyday driver anymore, gas was not going to be an issue and the four speeds didn't have as low of a first gear.

Most people don't drive their Camaros as much anymore, so go for the V8, ditch the column shifter, and burn some rubber. It's better for the resale value anyway.

This is a genuine MO 302 rebuilt short block (not a restamp) out of a Los Angeles built Z/28, standard bore with original GM pistons. There is virtually no ridge on the cylinder walls--if you run your finger across it, you can barely feel the transition. Partial hone marks are still visibile in the cylinders. This motor was taken out of a running vehicle. It has some miles on it since it was rebuilt, but I do not know how many. All I know is that it was rebuilt and running strong. The story goes that it was in an El Camino and it was too much motor for the car. So it was removed and placed into storage until I purchased it. It was a complete motor at the time, but the heads and intake were incorrect, so they were removed. The motor is very clean inside and out, except for the carbon you see on the pistons. This motor has the correct crank, pink rods, pistons, and windage tray. It also has a high performance cam and lifters--not sure of the grind, but it is supposed to be more on the radical side. This motor comes as pictured--what you see is what you get. If serious, please call. No emails, please. Thanks for looking.

I just picked up a set of four window regulators and motors that are supposed to be for a 67 Camaro.

Looking at some old pics of a 67 set that I had, the front regulators that I just got look to be for a 68 / 69 Camaro.

The two main things that strike me as being different are the cross pieces with the rollers, (Too long) and the rectangular piece that attaches the main arm to the geared pivot. (Different shape) Also, I don't recall 67's having metal stamped numbers on each piece and the the motor numbers were painted on in yellow ink for 67.

Can anyone tell me with certainty that these are 68 / 69 regulators? I can post more pics if needed.

If these are for 68 & 69, then I'll be needing a pair of 67 fronts.
