Is it against the rules here to say you have a nice one for sale.

General Discussion / Re: Chambered exhaust

I like the sound of deep tone exh.  , I have owned  several  cars with it over the years,
My z was originally build with chambered exh. so I don't want to change that.

My early Oct.68 built 69Z has chambered exh,  its an old chambered exh. , probably not the original system, but old, I like it , will not go to a muffler ,

So is it a real 67Z,  if so it can be put back  together /restored  like lots of other high dollar restored and rebodied  put together cars on the market that have the high dollar cowl tag.

Back to the Z28,,, who installed the cowl plenum air cleaner, and the big eared radiator cap,
I don't know much about the story on this car, I been busy detailing my own 69Z , and doing stuff since I retired 2 years ago.

Thanks

I am not sure about the  5  on the pad, so I cant say for sure,  maybe some experts will take a look.
It looks like a nice Z28 that has several things that need to be  corrected  for  factory originality , or,  maybe the owner did not care about total originality , many don't, and he wanted it done  this way, who knows.

Originality / Re: 69 350 water pump?

I do not believe it is the original pump from the looks of it.

It looks like the owner & car are in High Ridge, Mo., a town just south of St. Louis, and it reads that is for sale with a consignment center, or company,  in northern IL.  Every consignment place I have talked to the owner writes up the description of what is being sold.
The ad says,, born with engine,,  the last sentence says ,,the same can be said for the rest of the driveline.

I don't want to run the car down but it has several parts missing or wrong for a Z28,, the the passenger side exh. manifold looks like its from an automatic trans. car and the driver side is wrong too, no smog holes in the exhaust manifolds and for this much money I would want the smog equip., wrong alt. top bracket, the spark plug shields on the pass. side look wrong, and the driver side shields are missing, no rubber flaps on the inner fenders  , pcv  valve is wrong, hood hinges, hood latch, and master cyl. are painted wrong color,  and it looks like it sits too tall in the rear.
it looks like a nice solid car, just needs to be corrected a little.
