Didn't they leave off dates on "test" casts of new design blocks, heads, etc.???
Are you referring to these blocks?
"M"-Coded Blocks
There is one exception to the normal block casting date convention that has been observed: some blocks have been seen with "M" cast codes. Research by the Saginaw Metal Casting Operations of GM Powertrain Division has found that these "M" codes are not date codes, but actually a foundry code used to indentify parts that were made to evaluate a casting process change. After evaluating the parts, the blocks would either be destroyed or released into production. There is no way to determine the date an "M"-coded block was poured.

My "Chevrolet by the Numbers' book shows the 3877652 as the intake used for the 67 327 2 barrel Camaro, as well as other Chevy applications.  :)

i have received a repop set of rs rocker mouldings for my 67 rag. they are 3 pieces per side. but is there also a long slim piece that goes along the bottom of the rocker panel below these pieces?

I believe if you have the RS moldings, that is all you need. 

67 RS had both mouldings.  ;)

Foreign Camaros / KMH Speedo from Holland

Thought you guys might like to see these pics of a kilometer speedo from a 67 Camaro export model that was in Holland. It was given to me 20 years ago by a Dutch guy who emigrated to Australia with his 2 Camaros and then decided to go back to Holland to live and took the 2 Camaros with him. He wanted the 120 mph speedo to be different in Holland. Note the low odometer reading, that is about 3500 miles!!  :)

TRW and Moog are 2 of the more popular suspension component companies, their products are good quality.  You may find that some of the chassis mount bushings are still available from GM. ;)

The Re-Pop parts are manufactured all over the place. Some in the USA, and most I would say are from off shore. As far as pin pointing a lot of the parts down to a specific manufacturer, that is difficult because many parts are made by the same few companies and the retailers sell the parts in their own packaging. Do not believe for a second that all the retailers are making their own parts, that is a nonsense!

The obvious parts which can be compared to another easily are the soft trim parts, most are made in the USA and of course there are a number of manufacturers of weatherstrips which are always up for discussion.

I find it very interesting that after all these years of having re-pop parts available there are so many problems with the quality. GM should have continued making their own parts and we would all be a lot happier, even though some of theirs are not that good also. JMO  ;)

My suggestion is to work a little harder at finding the partial VIN by the oil filter, it can be hard to find and may be in the rough cast area of the block. That # is an important part of your puzzle. ;)
