« on: January 27, 2013, 01:10:40 AM »
The bushingsn
are rotting on the front sway bar of my 68.
What size sway bar and brand is best for replacement of the entire thing.

Thanks

Another winter project.

68 w/ a L6, 250 non a/c
It seems to run warm when the weather gets hot.
Did this come with a fan clutch. Does not have now.
If no, would adding one cool the engine?  Or can I add a multi-blade fan?

Thanks

The emergency brake on the 68.
When pushing down on the emergency brake pedal, the handle does not engage to keep the pedal fram releasing the gear.
It looks like a spring keeps tension on the handle.  A spring fell off, but I have no idea where or how it hooks into.

Thanks

my wife let me buy a 1968 convertible camaro last year.  it is in good shape but there are things that i cannot figure out.  i am not a mechanic.
1/  if i want to change the oil pump is it necessary to pull the engine?
2/ the car has two different size tires on it, the one on the rear larger that the front.  is there a reason for this and will the front take the same larger size as the rear?
