Restoration / Re: Reproduction 69 Endura bumpers available?
« on: May 28, 2017, 06:59:43 PM »
I have an original endura and I would be leery of the mount kit. I bought one from HBC and it was far from100% correct. The key element for the mounts are the metal bushings that are sandwiched by the rubber donuts, they were not even close. If anyone else has an original you know what I am talking about.

if you did remove the cardboard from the dash, could/would you trace it for a template? or if you did not remove it, is it possible to measure the dimensions?

does anyone out there have pictures of a 69 power window equipped car, with the door panels, rear panels or driver kick panel off, showing the wiring routes or relays that they can share? any picture of any aspect of the power window system would be greatly appreciated.  thank you.

the 1969 camaro assembly manual shows the mounting location for both front and rear antennas. they are on pages 442 and 443. upc u63 and u73. ricks first gen has the templates in their catalog under body & antenna templates.

just an observation; although you could not get a first gen camaro with a spoiler and a rear antenna, even the promo picture for the 1969 pace car shows the two together. here is a photo link. i hope it works.

Restoration / 69 power windows
« on: August 02, 2006, 10:12:52 PM »
hi to all, i am switching from manual to an original power window set up. i have factory fit harnesses that have a gold/brass, in color, mounting clip attatched on both door (driver and passenger) wire bundles, about three inches from the rubber boot going into the door the driver side also has a plastic clip that is about five inches farther from the brass clip. my question is where and how do these clips attatch to the door. i have looked in my assembly manual, fisher body guide, dealer parts guides and cannot find the answer. is there anyone out there that has had the deluxe door panel, with power windows, off of their car that can help? thanks for your time.
