On two different ebay cars i have seen H codes in the area that the X code is normally on the tag???
One was H599 ( i think ) and one on ebay now that has H569? It is a norwood car with 01c build date..

I have Haggerty ins on my vette.. i have a mileage limit( i think 4000/yr) and i can't use it for work transportation. we agreed on the value based on a previous appraisal and fresh photos.. we were out last summer and the rf brake was dragging..(brake hose collapsed) we called and they sent us a flatbed.. in about an hour or two we were home.. we learned that it is a ten mile freebie.. but beyond that it would have cost me.(according to the driver) and i think i get 2 per year(not positive).

Originality / VIN database ?
« on: February 04, 2007, 03:46:29 PM »
I've recently seen references to a database for the camaros.. is this available on this site or does someone keep a list somewhere?
I bought a 69 pace car in 1974 (sold it 1975  ...ugh)and wonder if it happens to be listed.. also have a x44 that appears to be quite original and if youre interested i could add it to your list...
thanks,
wally k

Restoration / opinions needed!!!!
« on: January 24, 2007, 12:24:57 AM »
Have my x44 diassembled(mostly).. needs all 4 floor corners, driver toe board and hump repair( cut for floor shifter)also both rear quarters and outers wells(but only rusted around the wheel openings).. tail pan rusted and roof had something fall on it and poorly repaired... front frame is still connected and all 4 bolts have come loose..  Going to be a driver..
I read that i should have the front frame connected and rear suspension in place to replace the rear quarters so the weight distibution will be the same after its complete. also is it better to just replace the floor with a one piece or do each seperate.should i do the floor first or the quarters? it would also seem better to replace the roof last but not sure...? all opinions appreciated..!!!

Hey Kevin..
Nice 67.. hope you enjoy..
Are you looking for the title from the original owner? or just want to be able to register it here?( i am in NY state also)
I have a 1st Gen too.. and i was able to register it with only a written bill of sale from another state.. I can fill you in if you need...
Good luck

I'll look for GM replacement stuff first...maybe only...
Is there a website for GM stuff?
Are the GM parts marked? how will i know GM from others?
Thanks a ton WestJ.71
