The only way to get black stripes on a hugger orange 69 Z/28 was to order a black vinyl roof.

So much wrong with that car besides the big stuff. The grille emblem is a pet peeve of mine. Also not painting the edge of the grille body color is another. I'll leave it there.

My 67 had gray paint under the perches when I disassembled it

There is a reason that 68's don't bring the money that 67's and 69's bring. The trim tags don't tell you anything. Just that it is a V8, hardtop. You have to look at the tell tale signs, the 12 bolt is one. The vin should be stamped on the engine pad. The hood would be another thing, but the car could have been in an accident and not replaced.

Orig. short block raises the number, but without pics, really hard to put a firm number. I would say 30ish. You don't have any pics of the car?

If you click on the word "listing" that is no longer available, it brings you to the orig listing. I don't like the vin stamp on the block either. Looks nothing like my 05A car.

Danny, how are you, first of all. Second, that is the hi performance shifter for 67. The std shifter did not say uncle on it. That is the shifter that was on my 67 RS/SS 350.

Mike, I believe the DMV requirement for using the year of production plates is that it had a sticker on it from the year of production of the car they are going on.
