Did not call nor do I know anything about it.
Crusin' the Coast (4000 + cars) starts this weekend and this popped up on Craigslist.
Hope there is something there for someone.
Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The economy is bringing some projects to market.

Sad fact is some think that project in the garage is their total recovery plan.   ::)

General Discussion / Craigslist Z28's
« on: July 11, 2010, 01:13:25 AM »
I know nothing about these but if someone wants to chase this ad, there may be something for someone.
He claims to have 3 first generation Z28's.
I hope this is an allowable posting. If not, no offense taken at it's removal.
If anyone does check it, please post your findings.

Originality / Re: 68 SS Hubcaps

And, just because I'm old and remember, this style of SS wheel cover was not used on the 1964 Impala SS but on the 1963 Impala SS. The 1964 SS cover was more of a flat design.

Restoration / Re: Paint first, or mechanicals?
« on: October 21, 2006, 10:38:31 PM »
I know this is a late post, but as a suggestion I didn't see, I've had a car or two apart and would have the car "jammed" before the mechanicals. Door, trunk, hood, cowl and fender lips get painted now and covered or back taped later.  It's a great time to paint places you can't get to any other time and any paint that might get damaged during assembly is easy to repair.

General Discussion / Re: Green top on green 69

Way back when, 1973 to be exact, I had a 69 six banger standard 3 speed camaro. Colors? Gold bottom with a green yinyl top and a green interior. The top was so dark that unless you were close it looked black. I sold it to a friend of mine when I went overseas. He wouldn't sell it back when I returned. We're still friends and the 69 is a G/SA NHRA racecar.

I was and will remain, thank you, 4speed. If I'm in the right spot, thanks. If not, sorry. Don't know if my previous post made it. I've had some computer issues since Katrina.

I was and still am (thank you) 4speed. It will take more than Katrina to keep us down.
