If you are planning on doing both Frederick starts Thurs. night with a nice cruise. Then show days are Friday and Saturday, nothing on Sunday. Someone mentioned you would have to be outside if you are not being Concourse Judged in the main building. This year we have a new class that is display only inside one of the other smaller secure buildings. You can load in on Thursday and keep it inside thru Saturday.

I wish I had more undercarriage shots. i got these photos 10 years ago from someone who had just bought this car from the original owner. He had commented on the overspray and sent that shot to show it. Here's a couple more shots of the car

Here's a shot I have of a low mileage original Pace Car rocker. looks pretty heavy to me. It's an 04C car

Chick,
Sorry I haven't had a chance to answer your question about Judged cars.I'm not sure how many cars that were in the two buildings that were Bowtie, Legends Bowtie,Legends and Vintage Judged.I will try to find out for you. We don't do red, white and blue anymore. The Maryland Camaro Club Judged 68 cars in the Heartbeat class. This is the 200 point "show and shine" class. There were 26 different Heartbeat Classes.
There were 4 cars in my class this year.

Marty,
The Rallye Green L-48 is mine. That's one of the reasons I was hoping to see your car, I don't get to see many restored back to stock.
After 2nd in class the past four years at the Nationals I was pleased to win 1st in class, 67-69 stock, this year.I'd be happy to send you some pics, let me know what you are looking for.
Maroman, yeah I know that guy in the red, white and blue shirt. It's always nice to have him around to help w/ security :)
restore-z28, my pleasure glad you enjoyed the pics.

Don,
I didn't mean to get so defensive about the food.We wanted to make sure there was a variety and the lines weren't too long. There was an area right in the middle of the showfield near our registration tent where the fair grounds have  power and water set up where most of them are during the fair. That's where they all were and not scattered around the grounds.
The subject of the date is tough. We sure didn't do it to make it a competition and make people choose, but well...... that is the date of the Camaro Nationals and that is what we are putting on. Camaro Enthusiasts plan their vacations every year on that weekend and many can't change it to another.I know it would be tough for me. The ACA was putting on the Camaro Nationals before Carlisle piggybacked the GM Nationals with our event. It's unfortunate we couldn't work w/ them any longer but that is just the reality of it.

Don,
I'm a little biased as we put on the show, but I have to disagree on a couple of points.
I will agree not as many merchandise vendors as the other show, but we think 350 Camaros was a pretty good car count for the first time at this Venue.
There was also plenty of food and drinks available. We had 4 full service food vendors and 2 specialty ones selling everything from great crab cakes, shrimp, fish, pit beef, turkey, ham, sausage, hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese steak, fresh cut fries, etc.
Every owner I spoke to was pleased to be at the new venue and we see nothing but bigger and better things next year.
Respectfully,
Billy McKee
