Gotcha..!

So William, what you suggest is that during the time the N66 was available (November 68),  the jacking instructions were the same as the Rally Wheel....??

4
I was wondering what jacking instructions were pasted under the trunk lid of Camaros with SS / N66 wheels built in Nov / Dec timeframe.

I know there were different instructions used after 8/69 build cars with N66 for the late 69's...

I was an active judge in the Ncrs and was a level 7 judge, the reason I got out and bought a Camaro is because of all of the responses above, you vette guys have ego’s and think you are better than others, your nothing but a bunch of pansies and do nothing but feather dust those plastic cars. I can count on one hand the normal vette drivers, and one of them is John Hinckly , oh yeah, he has a survivor z28 as well”

Gotta love that response!

Why go to an event that we're not welcomed at.
Screw them.

Restoration / Door Weatherstrips

Anyone ever use the 68 / 69 latex door weatherstrips from The Parts Place?

Just wondering how good it is....and if anyone has used it for their cars.

Mild Modifications / Re: The Hugger goes ZL-1....

A TH350 trans hooked up to a ZL-1 engine?

Personally, I would have gone with a TH400. I believe that's what came with them when new (if auto equipped)...

But hey, if it works what the heck.

Nice build...

I hate being picky, but the car in the pictures has no emblems on both the trunk & front header panel like the car for sale has.

Just saying......

Originality / Re: Fibre optics box on rear parcel shelf

Wish I had the rear part so I could complete mine.

Good luck finding one....took me five years before I gave up and bought an original from Jim at Heartbeat City.  Still feeling the pain.....but I finally got one.

Unbelievably, it almost got stolen at a cruise I was at last year.  Long story...............Now I keep my windows 3/4 up and doors locked.

Its amazing what some a-holes will do..

Classic Headquarters (CHQ)

If you have to use repro, this is the place to go.

This car is the perfect example of "auctionitis".

Someone paid way too much for this thing at auction, and now the new owner thinks it should bring the same money.

Never happen.

General Discussion / Re: LED Bulbs Revisited
« on: June 28, 2018, 11:21:18 AM »
Just for information sake..

These LED upgrades may not work with cars that have fiber optics / Vigilite option.

The end of the fiber that goes into the bulb socket usually goes right up to the edge of the bulb glass - which cant happen with LED's.

Just sayin...
