To look at another side of this it COULD be a Ralley Green car. Both teal blue and Ralley were spring additions and there's a teal blue car listed. Sure would be cool if this was yours.

Phil, do you know how the HP class was determined for Camaros? My '67 will never be on a show field at AACA but I hardly consider it to be HP even though it has 325. I know they have to to decide " something" just not sure they did the right thing. I would hardly feel my car deserves to be with solid lifter cars and Yencos.

I've had this argument with the Big Dog and got nowhere. A Yenko would also be in this class, or a Z-28 or a 396-375hp. Yenkos belong on the field but they do not belong with REAL production cars. And as you suggest a 275 PG should not be in the same class.

I believe that the 126.625" is from the datum line (aka: firewall)  As I remember, there is also a datum line reference number for the ending of the front fender stripe.
I think that would be 126 5/8 long.

Restoration / Re: British Green paint colour for my 1968 RS / SS

The only reason I brought that up is your paint stores may not have the codes and formulas for US cars. If they don't  but you have stores like PPG, etc. someone here in the US could get mixing formulas for the original color.

When you speak of wings it makes me think you are in the US. Paint mixing formulas should be available from a good paint store. If not there they would be here for sire. BUT it would help to know if it's base / clear, lacquer, enamel? Not all old colors translate to modern paints.

KevinW, no harm here. I didn't decode it just read what you said. I don't like vinyl tops on Camaros, even though I owned one. I think a white car with green interior will look great. Guess I was supposed to ask permission to have an opinion.

Kevin W said vinyl top. If not then it's perfect.

Except for the vinyl top I'd really like this car.

Teal blue is an usual color. I owned one back in the '70's and have only seen a few other Camaros with it. I am liking this car!

Jon, I am not sure how I missed this thread before. It's supposed to rain next few days, will have time to take a look then. Thanks.

Value is hurt with the NOM, but condition seems to be making up for that!

This is sounding better all the time. How could so many '68 Z's have been hiding all these years?
Because everyone wants a 69....   :)
That's pretty bold Kurt. '69's are like tattoos, everybody's got one.

Different words, but that's what I meant 68Z. You said it much better.
