I don't have anything to add. I had a hose on my 68 BB that was hit by the belt. The new one isn't factory but clears the belts easily.
67 smog info is not very well documented. It used some Corvette parts from what I remember. I think it was Mike's car a long time ago.
We need lots of photos and part numbers and should put together an article on them.

3744043 and 3755820 are both 6 3/4"

I think the stamped steel PS pulleys are all the same diameter.

I have the plastic orange caps. Bought lots of them from the original manufacturer years ago. Marking are slightly different but that doesn't show. I don't have my notes but the bearings aren't anything special. Did you try a hardware store? I bought a bag of 100 from McMaster Carr but that's probably overkill for 2. Years ago there was an article on rebuilding these shifters and they used a piece of rubber tubing in place of the spring sleeve. I can look that reference up if you're interested. Martin

Just looked at my 1968 LOS 01C BB.

Passenger side: threaded plate
Driver's side: 4 holes, two are larger and looks like they might have had rivnuts in them but no longer there. Large holes are lower left and upper right locations.

Kurt, that BG tag might be a broken clip that the overflow hose clips into. I have a BG tag too and also a AG clip for an overflow hose.
Sorry I can't help on the original radiator. My original RH tank was replaced. I do have a correct replacement radiator with an M date.

Good luck with your search. Keep your eye on ebay and start to track the various dates that are out there. XN isn't that common and there might only be 1 date that is best for your car. It took me 20 years to put together 5 XGs with the same dates for my 68 so you will need to be patient and persistent. Martin

Here are two photos of the fuel line in my 01C 68 LOS BB (probably L35 car). I believe the lines and clips are original. Bolts have RBW head markings.

My original bolt was missing but I have one off a 68 full size car from the junkyard. It's the same as those shown, 0.87" diameter captured washer, 0.060" thick, tapered tip, length about 29/32" length from washer to tip. Mine has the RBW head markings with the three lines and dot under the B, so a little different than the one already posted.

It looks like the transmission is still in the car. The partial VIN could be on the top of the maincase. Martin

Looks like 340067 to me. double check it. The 68 LOS VINs didn't go up to 360xxx. Martin

Thanks BULLITT65, George Olsen Oldsmobile was a name change in the 1970's so wouldn't be correct for 1968.
