Is there a way to bench test a blower motor for functionality by somehow applying 12 volts to it? Thanks.

Thanks for all the pics, they're very helpful. Can anyone chime in on the actual process of cleaning the calipers and testing the pistons to make sure they're free? Thanks again.

Looking for tips on caliper restoration as to the do's and do not's. Can they be safely bead blasted, etc... Short of installing on the car, is there any way to bench test the pistons to make sure they're not seized up? Any and all tips will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've seen many different versions of leaf springs, center link, coil springs, front suspension parts colors. Black, gray, silver, etc... Is there any reference regarding factory colors of said components or is it a mixture of colors based on where the car was built? Thanks.

General Discussion / Re: 68 Exhaust Front Hanger Mount

Thanks All! I think at some point, the Riv nuts were removed from my car as the lip area of the holes appear to have been monkeyed with, (i.e. someone got ahold of them with a pry bar). Thanks again.

Being that I'm not that familiar with 68's, I thought I would ask the experts. Attached is a pic of the bottom of the 68 I'm restoring. The driver's side has the standard, tapped 2 holes for the forward exhaust hanger/strap. The passenger side is not the same. Am I missing something? My 69 SS has the same tapped holes on both sides for the hangers. Thanks.

Any major prep work involved or just make sure the parts are clean prior to treating? Thanks.

Looking for suggestions on treatment of subframe body mount components, mainly the bolts and washers to prevent discoloration and particularly rusting. Is there anything readily available on the open market? Thanks.

I have some calipers that came with a 68 I bought but I think they are for a corvette. Casting #: 5473796 and 5452270.

Are the 67-68 calipers the same as the 68-82 Corvette and interchangeable? Thanks.
