Great suggestion. I will purchase a can of red to mix with the unused VHT flameproof orange I have already have. As you can see VHT's flameproof orange appears to be a different shade to their engine enamel- which I have used. Cheers.

Any paint product recommendations for an authentic colour match for the exhaust manifold, engine, ancillaries on my '69?
VHT flameproof flat orange (GSP114) exhaust paint doesn't seem to be a great colour match- colour match for earlier cars?

He was also the 6th Baronet of Earnock- Sir Simon Conran Hamilton Watson. I have all the original shipping and customs documentation too. Not to mention letters from GM re: a recall due to a defective engine mount in November 1971. It was also purchased with a 5 year warranty which is why he shipped it back to the UK. After I purchasing the car in January, I subsequently tracked down all of the car's previous owners and managed to acquires original pictures of the car prior to a respray. It was the first camaro we viewed (vey few in the UK: only 100 '69s and 30ish road registered) but the history and its documentation clinched it.

Great! It appears the rear of the decal is in line with the first set of valve cover bolts...Cheers. Another question...do you know the factory finish colour of the exhaust manifolds?

It's a 'T'. Thanks. Re: positioning of the decal- any idea on dimensional positioning of the cover?

Thank you. I have the original purchase receipt, on the trim tag indicates Norwood assembly but how do you precise identify where the engine was built?

I am seeking some advice. I am based in the UK and earlier this year purchased a 1969, 307 matching numbers car. The car was purchased in December 1969 by a UK banker while working in New York and shipped back to the UK when he returned in 1971. I have been searching online to identify what valve cover decal would have been fitted originally- if any at all. To date my search has drawn a blank for a 307- everything else seems to be covered. Advice welcomed.
