Originality / 69 door jam switch

Anybody else see an SX door jam switch?  I thought both were MB's.  These are off of a 69 Camaro.

Restoration / Re: '68 taillight bezels won't fit properly.

Looking at the photo you posted holding the template up to the tailpanel I see the gap between the trunk lid and the tailpanel increases going towards the center of the tail.  The problem could be that the tail panel is bowed slightly in the center.  Perhaps corrected by removing the trunk latch base and pulling center of tail panel forward?

Thanks!

The bottom two are the 3/8" size I removed from the body for the lower fender mounting.

Restoration / 69 Camaro Fender C-clips
« on: March 24, 2013, 12:48:17 AM »
I am cleaning up some harware removed from the front end of a 69 Camaro and am not sure which hardware is correct.  It all may be correct, however somebody replaced the fenders at one time and mixed up much of the hardware on other areas of the car, so I am questioning what I have found so far.  The car is a Febuary built Norwood body.  Most of the bolts look original as many have the same markings.  I have so far found three different types of 5/16" c clips which were removed from the fenders.

General Discussion / Re: New Door Seal to The Market
« on: January 01, 2013, 06:17:13 PM »
Did your son buy the set presented in the ebay add or one of the other two styles we sell?

My 68 Camaro was the pilot car for the first seal we had developed.  They are VERY Soft and hollow like the originals.  I am happy with mine, but of course I may also be biased as I work for Bob.

The Metro's are ok for 90% of the driver quality cars, but the door better be aligned up very well with the body, otherwise you will be slamming the door shut often.  Other factors do play a role, like the kick panels interfering with the door panels, or door panels that are just too long.  Many times I have had to grind material off of the ends of the Metro's in order to soften up the closing of the doors!

We sell many items to Canadians, as we are very close to the border, and therfore save Canadians much money in taxes.  I don't know what you are talking about as far as returns as I have never had anybody complain as long as you have a reciept.

As a matter of fact, many of our northern bound friends order items and have them shipped to our shop, then pick them up to take over the border in order to save money.
