My 69 ss396 Camaro was built 08E of 1969. The original cooling fan has always been missing. Are there any other 08E built cars that might have their original fan that might be able to tell me their date code so I could start looking for one please? It would'nt need to be a big block but woud have the 7 blade fan.

Restoration / Who wants quality reproduction yellow houndstooth seat upholstery?

As you all know a quality yellow interior for a 69 Camaro is not available. What we've seen is the wrong color, wrong grain & wrong weight vinyl. I'm working with Elliot at Al Knoch to make the correct vinyl happen. He need to know if there is enough interest to run a roll of 48 once yellow Madrid vinyl. It take about 10 yard to do the covers. I've had a 714 car for almost 30 years & have had 2 wrong interiors in it. I want it to be right the next time. If you're interested let me know here & I relay it to Elliot. it may take a year to get this done but I don't want to let it slide by.

Because I live in the hot desert the green plastic carrier part of my tach cluster has turned to dust. Any replacements for this piece?

Originality / Outside rear view mirror

I have an outside rear view mirror that looks like the 68/69 replacements except it's smaller. It measures 4-1/8x 2-7/8. The glass says
12 DMI 1. Could this be an original from the factory mirror? Were the replacements possibly bigger or is this off some other GM car?

Originality / 1968 instrument panel ground

I see on Feb 22nd 1968 Chevrolet added a ground to the inst cluster. Did the earlier cars only have the ground from the high beam indicater to the metal part of the speedo guage via a stamped strap or am I missing something? Thanks, Joe

I've seen lots of talk about x codes on Norwood cars & know that the x codes were never used on the trim tags of LA but were any of the LA cars marked below the package tray area with crayon like the Norwood? Joe

Does anybody have the arm stamp numbers for a 68/69 deluxe window regulator? I have a stack of them from other car & I can't remember which ones are correct for the 68/69. I could probably use the numbers for 67 deluxe also. Any help? Thanks, Joe
