The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is having a tribute to George Follmer in November that Bud Moore may be present for, if he's able. Here's a link (http://www.petersen.org/default.cfm?docid=1090) to info on the Petersen Museum's website. George drove for Roger Penske in '67, the Javelin team in '68 and late '71 through '72, and the Bud Moore Mustang team in between so he has a depth of knowledge and experience with the various Trans-Am teams that few, if any, can match.
Also - Ed Justice, Jr. is publishing a biography of George Follmer sometime next year. Ed has a notification list he's building to advise when the book is available and he can be reached by e-mail at ed@edjusticejr.com for anybody wanting to be added to the list.

Bought my tickets. Looking forward to this event.

The Petersen Museum always puts on a good event. I have a schedule conflict and don't think I will be able to make it, unfortunately.

Don't miss this one. George drove the wheels off of just about everything. Time is running out to see one of the legends of Trans-Am racing. Unfortunately, I can't make it.

Ok, I'm still curious about this event. Has anyone seen a report on it? Who showed up?

You are welcome! The pictures are too nice not to share.

Lots of respect for George Follmer on this forum. One of the greatest competitors in Trans-Am as well as many other racing series. Thanks for sharing the pics. I wish I had been able to attend the event.

I wish there were some cool events like this on the east coast too.
-
I think we can all relate to wishing we were closer to all the cool car events that take place across the US.

Thanks for posting that. A nice overview of some of the more well-known cars that George drove. Some content was obviously from other videos but other stuff was new to me.
