The Craigslist ad is back up today...

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/3191354761.html

The ad might get flagged and pulled again because it mentions firearms and ammo.

And along with adding more rambling text - looks like he added a pic of another Chevy.

What a jackwagon.

I am not sure I have ever seen one like that before although it is done in a similar fashion to the one on the Z/427 showcar. Kind of a cross between the stock GM front spoiler and the show car one.

IMO, whatever the seller is asking at this point is too much.  The seller thinks the car is a survivor; and we know with the color change, front spoiler, wheels, steering wheel, etc. that it is not.

Well, he was asking 65K when he thought "NONE or your buddies has anything like this... " but now that y'all have posted about it being a rare color the price may go even higher. After all, "This is a very rare once in a lifetime oppertunity to own what everyone else can only dream of."

Champagne might be a rare color, but it's not what I dream of. Maybe it's kind of rare for a reason. Like the same reason it was repainted red.

Yeah back in the day I think we as kids called it barf. Only the vibrant colors caught our imaginations. Now I'm a bit more appreciative of subtle colors, I like the look of the Champagne.

No badges, SS wheels, just what car is that? Also is that a green vinyl top? It looks gold to me. A Black Top, Z28 with a black houndstooth interior would be  a great combination IMO. I wonder if there was even one built like that.

I thought the same about the color of my Z/28 when I bought in 2003 with intentions of painting it Lemans Blue. I painted an old trunk lid the facatory color 61 Burnished Brown and went back with it.

Would that maybe be a COPO???   If so, what a "sleeper"!  Ditch the SS Wheels, go with the painted Rim and "Dog Dish", voila- the ultimate "sleeper".

I think it was listed as a best offer, but someone talked to him and the minimum number was like 60K it memory serves. Theres another thread on here about it as well Code 63 in the title.

would the sideswiped tag indicate major engine bay activity?
