Title: 1968 Z/28 on eBay, looks like restamped pad??
Post by: dannystarr on August 07, 2012, 12:23:56 AM
This one is a nice car but it looks like it has had some work done on the pad. Smooth areas where the numbers are. And rough where they are not. Also numbers are crooked and not in a straight row. The "%" amd the "MO" are jumped up about a full 1/8th of an inch???  What do we think? Look suspicious to me... Danny

Yeah, it's been on ebay before. Reputed 2nd owner car, but the pad and the axle are both restamps.

The car has two gas gauges; so the console gauges were probably added.

That block has been machined so the numbers are a restamp.
