Would someone please be kind enough to post a picture of the original screws which were used to mount the ashtray bracket into the dash of a '67-'68 Camaro? A measurement of the length of the screws would be appreciated as well. Thank you.

what is the part number?

The 68 AIM shows them as 9419327 (UPC 1, sheet B3, item number 6).
The 67 AIM shows them as 9419858 (UPC 1, sheet B4, item number 6).

If you need I will dig mine out and post a pic but they are 8-18X1/2" long and the screw head is .31 diameter. The last few months I had to find and catalog screws/bolts etc. for our restoration. Just checked the AMK catalog (our screws are 68) to see what the differrence is between the 68 and 67. AMK shows the same dimensions but not as pointed screw if that makes sense.

Chick, if you would drag those screws out and photograph them, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Jon, just want you to know when I bought our 68Z 30 years ago it was already torn apart and not too many hardware pcs. were bagged so I had to do the best I could considering. This screw is what I think it is considering the size and head diameter, along with the # I have as it is also used at UPC 1 B4. (68 AIM page 44) Hope I'm correct..... :)

I can measure my survivor 67 (4B) mounting screw if you're interested.

Chick, many thanks for doing that for me.
Mike, if you could do that and note any differences (if any) from Chick's screws, that would be terrific.
