Title: '67 Console freshening
Post by: Wazoo151 on July 14, 2006, 09:04:30 PM
Hey all,

I just purchased a '67 console with gauges, and it arrived in really nice shape, with no pitting in the chrome at all.  I would like to freshen up the black paint - what would be the correct color and procedure for doing this?  I have already purchased a new door, ashtray cover, and light cover; what I'm looking to do is the main body and the gauge housing.

Thanks!

Robert

Krylon semi-flat black works. It's acrylic lacquer so watch out for blush on a humid day. it's a very good color and gloss match for interior and under hood also.
