Title: used parts yards?
Post by: BillOhio on July 09, 2012, 04:44:36 PM: I am looking for some clips around the engine, shackles add some other parts. are there any yards I should check with? I am in Ohio and used stuff around here isn't good. Ebay doesn't seem to have much either

In fact, over the last year or so it has become more profitable to crunch one than save it. :'(

Post by: rich69rs on December 05, 2012, 09:12:07 PM: Yard below is one of the best resources I know of - a lot of old "classics" of all types. Last time I was there, no 1st Gen Camaros, howerver, a lot of GM products with similar or same general parts, fasteners, etc.

They are located in southern California, on US Hwy 395 just north or Inyokem, CA and the junction of CA State Hwy 14 and US Hwy 395. Might try givng them a call. Check out their website - lots of pictures of old rides sitting there in the low humidity of the desert.

They have New, Used and Reproduction parts. They have a whole yard full of Camaros to pull parts from. I have used them several times. Scoop
