I have a 67 4speed, bench seat car with an under the dash 8 track. There is a good picture in the 67 assembly manual of the bracket and face plate for this type of installation. The bracket does bolt under the dash and the rear of the tape deck rests on the trans tunnel carpet. I have never seen another one installed like this, although I would imagine that some are out there. Good luck finding the bracket and plate.  Bill
