Title: Brake Parts Numbers - 69Z - Rear Drums / Front Rotors
Post by: rsatz28 on July 13, 2006, 06:56:45 PM
I believe that I still have the original drums and rotors still on my 69Z. What would be correct part numbers? When I replaced the ball joints a few years ago, they were still riveted in place.

I'm curious as the car shows aprox 60K on odometer. Could the mileage be 60K or so based on the car having the original drums, rotors (2pc) and rivted ball joints?  What are the chances of these three things surviving all these years?  I've had the car for 10 years.

Our 85,000 67 Z/28 had OE ball joints, drums and rotors. The rotors had never been turned and cleaned up with a light cut.

Rob,

The front disk w/hub assembly was P/N 3901098 and the rear drums were P/N 3841176, but if you're looking for part numbers on the components themselves, you won't find it.

My 69 still has what I believe are the original drums installed and they do show a casting P/N 3841177 of, as seen in photo.  My rotors are replacements.
