Title: Is this a Non-Console Automatic Floor shifter?

Hey guys,

I believe that there were some guys here that were interested in seeing an automatic floor shifter for a non-console car.  I came across this and was wondering if this is it.  So, here it is.

 This looks like the one on my 67 w/TH400 and console (no gauges)
The character colors don't look correct though.

I believe you will find that only 68 had an auto shifter for a non console car

The auto floor shift option was RPO M11 and is not shown in 67AIM, but  does make note that the option was added to the AIM option list  in 2-17-67. This was due to the introduction of the BB 396 w/ T400 without console and had  a production run of over 12,000 units. In 68 there where over 30,000 RPO M11 units produced. The 68 AIM Shows the shifter in detail and is correct as I have the original from  my 68. ;D

 So the ebay ad shows the shifter but the console plate shown was not used for cars with no console?
What was the means to show what gear the tranny was in?

Bob- no....I'm a '67 guy  ;)

Ed - Thanks for the link. Yea....it sure does look like a Mustang. But the Ebay link above looks more like the console shifter identification plate being it's a 2 piece design.

Interesting to see such a thing existed!
