Title: 1968 Camaro Rally Wheel Center Cap question
Post by: texasappraiser on July 10, 2006, 04:20:51 AM
My 1968 Camaro has the correct 14x6 rally wheels. I currently have the tall center caps on them. I was looking at them today and the caps seem to really overlap the contour of the wheel, they don't seem to fit flush with the contour of the rim, if that makes any sense. Were they made in different sizes? Or were they all the same diameter. Thanks, Lance in Brenham, TX.

Lance,

They're all the same. Full Size, Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Corvette... Used from 1968 up through 1982 (on the Corvette).

Can you post a picture of what you're looking at?

Ed

I've noticed that too, I think it's normal. It may have been too difficult to get them off without damage if they fitted too flush
