Title: 69 camaro door sill emblems

I used them on my car but I'm not impressed. They won't lay down flat. I enlarged the holes as much as I could to try and relax them but they are still not right. As soon as I can I'm going to have my originals polished out.

Post by: 69pace on May 17, 2012, 01:10:40 PM: I just snagged a pair since one of my originals was gouged and bent in storage. The show quality ones I bought are in fact just that IMHO. So much so that I will be using both since the new one makes the surviving good one look like skit. They are made by "Trim Parts" and I got them trough Rick's but you can buy direct from them. http://www.trimparts.com/

Post by: Stingr69 on May 17, 2012, 03:21:38 PM: There was a guy that was selling some custom made sill plate rivits that you could use to attach the emblems. Very reasonable as I recall. They were just ever so slightly larger but looked good for a high quality driver or mid level show car. If anybody wants some just let me know. I think I can dig up his email somewhere and PM it to you.
