Title: 1968 Z/28 stripe question
Post by: Dockroger on May 05, 2012, 12:56:27 AM
Mr. MacNeish's 1967-1968 Camaro Z/28 fact book shows the front edge of the stripe below the rear window as being straight.
The stencil kit that I purchased has it curving down slightly towards the back of the car
What's correct?

The stencil kit is not a perfect solution. I do seem to recall the middle wanting to curve down when I tried to lay out the stencils. It's been a couple of years but I remember the painter and I did a little trimming, cutting and adjusting on the stencil to get the part above the trunk lid to look right.
