The place restoring my 1969 Z/28 repainted the air cleaner base. Is this an original base for a 01B (2nd week Jan 69) flat hood Z28?

Hi David,
It appears your base is correct, but that "new gloss" makes it difficult to see in the photos. I don't see the elbow coming out of the bottom. I thought it was integral with the base, but I may be wrong. I'll post some photos of mine for you to compare to.

David, Here are a couple photos from a March, Flat Hood Z/28: (The breather tube was damaged modifying it for a double pumper Holley)

Bob,
Thanks for lending a helping hand and for the pictures! :)
I will check to see what happened to the breather tube.
Thanks!
