It's been a long journey but I finally got to drive it home today. You guys have made such a big difference had I had to tackle this project alone. My greatest thanks to all for the help that has been provided and the patients for putting up with me. It went from this to this.

Those appear to be the old Motorwheel aftermarket wheels from the late 60s/early 70s. They were a big hit in their day. Haven't seen a full set of those for a long time.

Congrats! Looks great.

Thanks for the Kind words guys. The old wheels are in fact Motorwheel Spider Wheels. You could get them at most speed shops back in the day and they were put on some Yenko cars according to a couple of threads I read on the Yenko web site. They are in my shop now.

Schweet.......are those door panels GM or repro?

They are reproduction and my interior guy said they are the best he has ever put in a Camaro. He's been doing restoration work for 35 years and still tells everybody how great they looked and fit.
-
Very nice looking car.
-
Daniel - I like your molded hood insulation. I hear you have to be very careful with them because they brake pretty easy. And do you know if that type was offered from the factory?
-
From my understanding this is production (assembly line) correct for the insulation. Yes it is fragile until it's installed but after it's buttoned up it has enough keepers in it to stiffen it.
-
Very, very nice Great Job..I know someone who is a proud Papa !!!!

I was never a big fan of the green, but I have to say, this car convinces me that it can be a nice color if done right. The white hockey stick makes it.
Tmodel66, I sent you a PM. I would like to post your photo for May on the home page to represent 69 Camaros for the month. Let me know if you would like that.

They are Legendary Auto Interiors. I got the first set they made for retail. The guy that helped with the seat covers and the rest of the interior said they were the best he had ever saw. He's been doing restoration work about 30 years and he couldn't believe how much better these were compared to all the others. I'm very pleased with them.
