Title: 1969 Camaro Wiring Diagrams

I have a 69 Camaro, 396, console shift, console gauges, warning lights, originally had AC but not installed now, and have serious electrical gremlins (fuel gauge, gas gauge, blinkers, volt gauge, brake lights are all inop), as well as the heater blower. Driving me nutz! Does anyone have a link or a line on wiring digrams that are of better quality than in the AIM? Need schematic on light harness (front/rear), dash harness, engine harness, and console harness.

Any help would be appreciated as this beauty is ready for the road except for this electrical nuisance. Thanks in advance,

Bill, in my opinion, GM factory wiring diagrams were horrible. They never seemed to make any sense to me. It took me many years before I could even figure out the basics! Even when I could find a set that was readable!

That being said, Larry DuBois created a set in color for the 69 several years ago and even though I have a 68, I still use his for reference since they actually make sense! I emailed Larry a few months ago to see if he was planning on creating a set for 67 and 68, but as yet, no plans. But I keep my hopes up.

Anyway, he still sells the 69 set so drop him an email at dsrtracing@beyondbb.com and see how much they're going for now.

68Z - Yes! That's it exactly, they actually show the color coded wires. Thanks to you also.

I can drop an e-mail to the Gentleman Ed suggested; hopefully he still has them available.
