Title: Defrost Cable on 68 with A/C
Post by: lakeholme on February 19, 2012, 02:36:29 PM
My defrost cable has either broken or disconnected. Before we go into the dash, two questions.
Does anyone make that cable for cars with air?
What's the difference from non air cables? Longer or curved... Or both?

Thanks in advance!

Phillip - have you tried Vintage Air?

Sure it's the cable and not the lever? They break often and repair kits are sold. Easy procedure.

Marty, no, it's original.

I don't think so, but I can hope. So, with the level can you go in from the front to check?

If the lever is flopping around it snapped.
