Hello Matt,

If you mean this color, on these headers:

I'd gather it was VHT (Very High Temperature), Flat Yellow.  I think the current product to look for would be:

"VHT® FlameProof Coating 2000°F (1093°C), Flat Yellow"

Be aware that the typical high temperature paint will shift colors slightly when hot.  White when cold could equal yellow when hot.

From my experiences with VHT (admittedly over 40 years ago), it is very susceptible to permanent marks left by greasy finger prints, dripped or sprayed oil, or just about any other contaminant found in an engine compartment.

Good luck with it.

Hello Matt,

VHT also makes a flat white header paint, and have done so since these glory days.  The light, flat colors are excellent for quickly detecting a crack on a race car exhaust.

But, I'll echo CNorton's comments about how easy this paint is to mark-up.  When I was younger, I painted side pipes on a 427 Cobra (not mine) with VHT flat white three times in one year.

I haven't asked, but I'd guess 'white' would be an optional color for JetHot.... and it would last and be cleanable...

and I can confirm that the 'white' VHT header paint did turn towards 'yellow/brown' when it got hot a few times...

I believe you can get headers ceramic coated white now, which will not burn off or discolor and is able to be cleaned.
