Title: Delco T I ignition system
Post by: carnut on June 22, 2006, 03:39:40 AM
I have a complete 1960's Delco electronic ignition sytem kit. ( it looks like a chrysler type electronic system but it's all delco.) It is brand new, unmolested (nos) in the original box. (it has the coil, harness, module etc with instructions right from the dealer) NO DISTRIBUTOR. I have seen the distributor it is a cast iron tach drive unit, with a magnetic pulse  pickup instead of points. rare but obtainable. These were used on corvette but I understand they were also used on some camaros as a performance ignition system. Delco calls it a "T I" system. It would be just the kind of thing to top off a high point car. I'm working on a '68 convertible and it's all original, I won't change the ignition. The unit is for sale if any one wants it.
