Does CRG have any history on this Camaro?

Beautiful colors. Kind of makes you wonder why it doesn't run. And it doesn't say it has the original engine, does it?

This is like the third time it's been listed. I'm like you, doesn't seem like it would take much to finish. I'd like to have it.

Here's the previous listing...

That's what I was thinking, at least until I took a look at Paul's link :-\. Have you ever heard of any Z, especially a '67 ending at <28K ??? Major red flag!!! Again, where in the heck are the important numbers and pics to go along with these numbers (Vin, engine pad, tranny & rear)?
Hmmm...blow up the pic of the cowl tag & check out the rivits. What a mess :o
-
Not sure if correct but on team camaro it was stated the car was suspended from the 67 Z/28 registry and it had a repro cowl tag. No expert here but very little real info to go on and as long as its been on ebay you would think they would have gotten that engine running.

Thanks for the TC thread Chick. Its all coming together now! :P

IF it is in fact a 3892657 Block, what did they do with the Crankcase vent hole in the back of the Block? Did they block it off? Clearly has the vent tube to the Air cleaner coming off of the Pass. Valve Cover. Which has already been stated are not correct for a '67. And the PCV Valve should be in the Oil Fill Tube. Lots of Red Flags.

Chick thanks for posting the thread to the Team Camaro site as I was sure I read about this car somewhere. Seem very odd they would go through all this effort for a professional restoration and then 2 feet away from the finish line just stop...

Also has a '68 deck lid, and gotta love the K-Mart battery cable terminals.
