I've seen a few venders that advertise rear speaker enclosures that are exact reproductions of the originals for a 69 Camaro convertible but no idea where they would installl - any pictures or descriptions where they are supposed to be installed and how would be appreciated.

Never mind - I did a search and found what I was looking for.

Where did you find an answer?

I found 2 posts- . Here's the first post, http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=3223.0
Here's the second one http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8384.0
both pictures appear to be survivor cars. Not sure if the 2nd one is a 69 as the jack storage looks to be different than what I have seen in the past for a 69, although the picture looks to show original equipment. I thought the jack went on the PS under the tire on a 69?

I think if you had the tire saver spare option the jack was like in a coupe across the top under the spare, verts with full spare I think were on the pass side. I guess I will find out as soon as I buy my missing spare rim and try to secure it.

Looking for a spare rim myself. Makes sense for a space saver, there wouldn't be a place to pinch the jack under the tire with one of those I guess. I don't think there are any brackets used with a full size spare, just stuffed under the tire on step up in the trunk on the PS.

Funny you say that I just got one off fleabite. I had been looking for a while for a K19 3 5 YJ rim with no luck. Then I found a K10 3 5 YJ so I said close enough for a spare. Sitting in the living room. Gonna run it in the dish washer tonight and paint in the morning. My Z11 always had full spare so all I have to do is attach a new hook tab tot he trunk floor, the original was torn off back in the 80's. Good excuse to learn to weld I guess. LOL

So you have a spare rim and i have tab ready for a spare! :) at least its an easy spot to weld. I plug welded mine with a mig from the top but did drop the tank just to be safe. Didn't want to take the chance of a fire.
