I've only seen a clone copo in this color. Any member's here have a car this color? Paint code 63 Champange.
Thanks
Mike

Nice looking color and very uncommon as only 0.5% 69's had it.
-
I have never seen this color in person, would also like to know if any members have a car this color. If so, can you please post a pic.

Some years ago there was a local collector looking to own 1 '69 Z/28 in every color. Finally located an X77 63 B Z/28 on Ebay. No engine and fairly rough; he passed.
Only one I know of.

The Camaro on the cover Joe Oldhams "Supertuning your Z-28 Camaro" appears to be that color.
Need to find a link.

Here's a '69 SS in code 63...http://www.69pace.com/paint1969champagne.htm.
I think this would be nice color for a Z. Maybe with white stripes & white interior.
-
Only time I've seen it in person was on a 69 two-tone Buick in the junkyard and it was tired paint.
Very uncommon color. I've seen pics, but hard to tell what it looks like in person.
And as William said, I also know of only one 63 code Z, that ebay car.

I bought a trunk lid off a guy in Lawrenceburg IN. I was looking at his car which was Hugger Orange and notice the paint code was 63. I told him they didn't make many 69 Camaro's in that color.

Here's the COPO clone I was talking about.

Found this while looking for parts for my 68 SS restoration & was intrigued since I was not familiar with that color code. Now that I am reading this, I am really intrigued because this is a numbers matching 65,000 mile car. I know now that this was the rarest color since only 1/2 percent of total production was in this color, but does anybody know how many of those were Z's?

Thanks! It's currently on the Nashville Craigslist, posted Monday.

Can you post the link to that listing. Here is all I was able to come up with and this Z isn't there...

Sounds like it'll go for pennies on the dollar; "There is ONE person out there with enough money".
Sure hope its one of our members.
Thanks for the link!
BTW, is it just me or has this cowl tag been removed/reinstalled? And is there a pic of the engine pad floating around anywhere?

I believe the tag is original and has not been removed from the car.

I’ll say no more, except…what an outstanding car & LUV that color combo!!!
Thanks Bill.

It does NOT sound like pennies on the dollar to me. I am not sure how you interpereted the ad...
I don't think anyone here is interested in dealing with that kind of seller. At least until he gets a reality check.

I keep forgeting printed text shows no expression...just being facetious Ragtop. In other words, I agree with you 99.999%.

LOL, sorry my sarcasm detector must have been turned down last night. I can usually detect that.
I do have a good idea for acquiring this car at a reasonable price with this particular seller. I got the idea after reading the keywords in the Camaro sellers advertisement and a post on TC.
Just buy this El Camino from the Doritos commercial off EBay and offer to trade it straight up for the Camaro! No Hillbilly could resist this awesome opportunity!
