Saw some NOS flexible rubber brake lines advertised for a Chevelle that had the SAE info in red with long red dashes 180 degrees from the red SAE info. I trashed the front disc brake hoses on our 68 z/28 but had the rear one. After a little cleaning the red SAE information and dashes were very prevalent. I do not recall reading about this before and was wondering what information might be available. Here are pics of our orig. rear brake hose. Is this new info to anyone else or was it just me again ;D

Same Exact were on the 69 RS/Z survivor...

A friend in Canada confirms he has the same thing on his 69 Z/28. Just never heard of this before. Who has the most correct hoses?

Same exact on my 69 RS Z

Exactly the same hose as on my 69 RS/SS, but mine is deteriorating and needs replacing. Any input on where to get a completely correct hose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That set is for what I would need (67/68) but there is one huge draw back in that you have the red lettering correct but the ends are wrong. A friend pointed that out to me recently.

Yes, the hoses for my 69 RS/SS look like the ones in the original post (of what I can see of them). However, the eBay hoses are completely different from mine other than the rubber and lettering. The ends are wrong, the crimps are wrong, and the front hoses have no rings for the control arm clamps.
