Title: Pressure Regulator Factory Application/s
Post by: BlackoutSteve on June 05, 2006, 11:53:28 PM
RPO-L48/B3 is the only place within the 1969 Assy Manual that lists the use of this pressure regulator.
(http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/6644/misc3jm.th.jpg) (http://img110.imageshack.us/my.php?image=misc3jm.jpg)

Therefore, I was under the impression that only L48 350s had this fitted as shown.
A friend tells me any Camaro with front discs/rear drums use one as well. -Then why is it not in the RPO-J52 chapter?

Was it only the L48 optioned Camaros of 1969 that have this regulator? If not, what others?
Thanks. ;)

Steve,

This is an ongoing resarch project the guys are doing. You can read more about it HERE (http://www.camaros.org/TopicsofResearch.shtml#Multi-YearResearchTopics).

Thanks Ed.. Interesting..
I guess I'll leave it off the car unless the rear wheels start locking up.. I'll fit one then and see what happens.  8)
