Title: Muffler and Tail Pipe Clamps
Post by: TooManyReels on June 26, 2011, 01:09:33 AM
Was there a patter in which the muffler and tail pipe clams were installled. Nuts straight down, 90 degree towards the front, 90 degree towards the rear, or were they installed randomly as they tighten them.

I think the AIM shows that detail.

Eddie,

The AIM is the Assembly Instruction Manual. This should be at the top of the list for any 1st Gen owner's library. You can find them on EBay.

Take a look at Ed's list of references.  He does a great job of covering the waterfront, including the AIM.  You can also find the AIM from suppliers. And at one point he shared an online site where you could download the 69 AIM (with a fast enough computer)....

And of course, there is the CRG Bibliography List.
