What is the correct ignition coil(part number) for a 68 z/28 04A build?

The 202 was used for most of 68 with the 298 taking its place late in the model year. I don't have a date the change took place but more than likely for a 04A it would be the 202.

Pete,

My 02C Van Nuys built '68 Z/28 has a "202" coil in it.

My 06C car also has a 202. Since I bought the car about 15 years ago it always had a coors beer can wrapped around the coil and I never removed it until I had Jerry come out and look at the car. It was kinda cool to find the 202 under there.

The 202 coil had lots of applications in that era - it was also the standard coil for all point-ignition '65-'67 327 Corvettes.
