Title: Registery
Post by: LM69Z28 on June 08, 2011, 05:41:07 AM
I emailed Kurt once to find out how to get my 69 Z/28 listed in the registery with no response (email probably went into his spam folder?)
Anyone have a better suggestion?
Thanks

Kurt is VERY busy lately, so it may take him awhile to get back to you. If you want to email the info to me, my email address is in my profile.

Is there a sheet for the info the CRG is looking for in the registry?
I have a 69 I would like to add and get feedback on.

Basically at the minimum we're looking for the following:

VIN
Trim Tag
Engine Pad
Transmission stamping
Axle codes

If you have any original docs like the POP, Order Form, Windows Sticker, etc... these as well.

Optional is ANYTHING with a date code!! Things like the glass codes, seat belt codes, instrument cluster codes and dates, engine component casting numbers and dates, etc... If it's original to the car, we want it! And as always, pictures are the best. High resolution pictures are even better.

Sorry, I'm swamped right now. On top of that, I switched computers and my new email won't open my old Outlook files. So lots of old emails that I can't access to reply to, yet. :(

Kurt
Sorry to hear about the computer issues. Hopefully you'll get them resolved without to many more headaches. I have submitted alot of info. about our 69Z directly to Ed Bertran who was very gracious and stepped in to help out in your absence. When things get back to normal we can discuss what else maybe required for the registry!
Good luck

Kurt - on your MS-office CD there are a set of Outlook tools. You may have already installed them on the computer so search for Scanpst.exe. This is the mailbox (personal folders) repair tool. It has saved my large Outlook 2002 pst files more then once.

The issue is Windows Live Mail won't read Outlook pst files. It will Outlook Express, but not Outlook. I need to run it thru a converter and that hasn't happened yet.... :)
